1. To "take a walk on the wild side" means to take a risk. People, institutions and societies are presented with choices constantly and are asked to make decisions that many times involve taking a risk. What kind of risks have you taken, and how have those experiences changed you? Have you ever taken a risk and made a mistake? What did you learn from this? Have you ever not taken a risk and wished you had? What happened and what did you learn? When is a risk worth taking and when not, and how can one determine this?
